So today I want to focus on loving your feet. They are your foundation, your support and vital to your joyful day. Start if you can with a warm bath - even a simple foot soak with epsom salts is great. Then take one dried foot and use your finger to gently pull the big toe toward you. Women especially will want to do this as we tend to pinch our toes in pointy shoes leading to painful bunions. As you gently pull the toe, use the other hand's thumb to massage the bottom of this foot. Find any tender spots and use the thumb and knuckles to gently knead the spot until the tenderness lessens.
Next move to each toe again gently squeezing and pulling. Apply a bit of pressure along the nail bed and cuticle. Your feet are an amazing map of your entire body with pressure points everywhere.
Loving your body - every inch of you inside and out - is one of the most important things you can do each day. Your body is a gift, the container for your soul, and it's meant to live and function perfectly much longer than you might believe. When you hold that healthy expectation for your body - ignoring all the contrary signals from people around you - you will be rewarded with a body that loves you back.
Wishing you much health, love and joy.
