Yes! Studies now show that by 'painting an antibiotic substance on the tooth' you can stop the decay process. Amazing!(sorry for the sarcasm) The only downside to this process it that the substance turns the decayed area BLACK! Yikes! Of course then you will want that are drilled out and replaced with something white - right? Yuck!
OK - my rant is over. Now for what we have been doing for years. We use essential oils on our teeth. Science (for those of you who like a little proof) has proven that essential oils are anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory and so much more.
We make our own toothpaste using baking soda, coconut oil and oils like Oregano (a very potent bacteria and virus fighter), Clove (full of anti-oxidants and has the capacity to numb pain), Peppermint, Cinnamon and others. I use a protective blend that has Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary already blended creating a super infection fighter and therefore cavity fighter.
Best thing about using this home-made blend? NO chemicals! NO side effects! NO toxic fluoride! NO black teeth!! AND NO expensive dentist visits!
Now I have nothing against the dental profession. I actually think they are saints because it is probably a pretty thankless job. When you need a dentist - you really need them. Wouldn't it be nice though, to not need them so much?
My purpose has always been to empower you, especially you parents, to become the healers that you are. With essential oils in your medicine cabinet, you can avoid so many late night calls to the doctor for fevers, upset tummies and now even toothaches. (Clove!)
I love these gifts from the Earth - so simple, pure and potent. I wonder what else is possible when we tune into all the Earth is offering us?
Blessings and happy teeth ~
